Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical and mental disabilities, and other special needs. For more than 90 years, Easter Seals has offered help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities, as well as to the families that love them. Easter Seals uses therapy, training, education, and other support services so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work, and play in their communities and in their lives.
ESA has supported Easter Seals since 1984, volunteering time and donating more than $5.9 million. Because of the support from Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Easter Seals is able to provide services to the 1.5 million children and adults with disabilities around the United States.
ESA members participate in a variety of events to raise funds for Easter Seals, as well as donating time volunteering with local Easter Seals Affiliates. Nationally, ESA supports programs like Easter Seals’ Camp Hope and Cartridges for Kids. Locally, Indiana ESA volunteers with and supports local Easter Seals Affiliates Easter Seals Crossroads in Indianapolis, Easter Seals/The Arc of Northeast Indiana in Fort Wayne, and and the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville.
