Lucky in ESA at Spring Conference

The Gamma Pi: Indianapolis chapter is hosting Lucky in ESA at Spring Conference on March 15, 2025 at The Little Flower School in Indianapolis! Registration is $20 per person with Way & Means tables at $2 each. Registration and shopping will begin at 9:00 am with the meeting beginning at 10:00 am. Lunch will be a baked potato and salad bar. Registrations are due by March 1, 2025. Please bring feminine hygiene products to help women served by Hoosier Veterans and Families (HVAF) of Indiana!

Gamma Pi: Indianapolis Winter Warm-Up Collection for HVAF

The Gamma Pi: Indianapolis Chapter is collecting men’s clothing and personal care items for the Hoosier Veterans & Families (HVAF) of Indiana from November 11 – December 8, 2024. Men’s clothing (socks, white undershirts, and boxer briefs) and personal care items (toothbrushes and paste, denture care, deodorant, shampoo, shaving supplies, travel-sized lotion, and feminine hygiene products) can be dropped off at the Great Lakes Ace Hardware of Zionsville and Hussey-Mayfield Zionsville Public Library.

Beta Kappa: Seymour Holiday Arts & Crafts Market

Get a head start on your holiday shopping with the Beta Kappa: Seymour Chapter’s Holiday Arts & Crafts Market! It will take place November 23, 2024 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Girls, Inc. in Seymour. Lunch will be provided by Trinity United Methodist Church! All proceeds from the market will benefit the Beta Kappa chapter’s philanthropic projects.

Anna’s Celebration of Life Rock the Night for Special Needs

Event Set Up
Individuals volunteering for Event Set Up will assist the planning committee with event set up, including but not limited to auction table preparation, centerpiece placements, registration setup and other as needed tasks. Post hours are 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Registration/Check-In & Coat Check
Individuals volunteering for Registration/Check-In should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Volunteers will assist with checking people into dinner/dance event, providing seating instructions and distributing any relevant information (if applicable). Dress code for the event is business casual or “holiday attire” or dress in our tribute theme (this year is Queen: A Night at the Opera). Post hours for both Registration/Check-In & Coat Check are 5:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Volunteers will be fed dinner.

Auction Check Out & Coat Check
Individuals volunteering for Auction Check Out & Coat Check should be comfortable on their feet, in a fast-paced environment. Volunteers will assist guests with payment & collection of auction items. Please note: most payments are done via credit card on our auction processing system so only cash & check payments will be paid to volunteers, if applicable. Post hours for both Auction Check Out & Coat Check are approximately 9:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. These volunteers are welcome to arrive early for dinner.

Beta Phi: Rockville Thanksgiving Dinner Fundraiser

Join the Beta Phi: Rockville chapter for their annual Thanksgiving Dinner fundraiser on November 20, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Rockville Elks Lodge #2471! The cost is $12 and tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance from any Beta Phi member. The meal will include turkey & noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, drink (tea or bottled water), and dessert!

Delivery and carryout options are available. For delivery orders, contact Cindy Norman at 765-592-0408 by Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

All proceeds will benefit Beta Phi’s philanthropic projects including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Camp Riley, Anna’s Celebration of Life Foundation, and local philanthropic efforts.

Riley Children’s Foundation Booth at the Indianapolis Christmas Gift & Hobby Show

Volunteer to staff the Riley Children’s Health Information Booth at the Indianapolis Christmas Gift & Hobby Show November 6-10! Volunteers will be hosting the Information Booth on behalf of Riley Children’s Foundation. All volunteers will receive basic training and must sign the waiver from the event organizer prior to the event. During your shift, you will assist guest with general questions, accept donations for Riley Children’s Foundation in Riley buckets at the booth, and provide general Riley Children’s Foundation literature provided by RCF for guests. Each shift will have 2 volunteers. There may or may not be a member of RCF staff present during your shift. Before or after your shift, you are welcome to attend the event and shop, there is no cost for your admission.

Indianapolis St. Jude Walk/Run

Join Team Indiana ESA at the St. Jude Walk/Run on September 28 at White River State Park in Indianapolis! The event area opens at 8:00am and participants can enjoy refreshments and visit various mission moment activations. Kids can get their faces painted, balloon animals from a local artist, play games, and much more! The Opening Ceremony begins at 9am. Beta Phi: Rockville Vera Bradley Raffle for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

The Beta Phi: Rockville chapter is holding a raffle benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! You can win a Vera Bradley Weekender bag, a Large Travel Cosmetic bag, and a Large Stainless Steel Tumbler! Chances are $1 each or 6 for $5. Beta Kappa: Seymour Oktoberfest Prince & Princess Contest

Enter your child in the Beta Kappa: Seymour chapter’s Oktoberfest Prince & Princess Contest! All children between the ages of 6 and 10 who are Jackson County residents are eligible to participate. Once their entry form is submitted, the child may begin fundraising for the contest. All participants receive a bag of prizes, are eligible to ride in the parade, and have a pizza party after the parade. The winners will receive a new bike!

Anna’s Celebration of Life Foundation: Anna’s 18 Hole Challenge

Volunteer with Anna’s Celebration of Life at the Anna’s 18 Hole Challenge on August 15 at the Country Club of Indianapolis!

  • Course Setup: Individuals volunteering for Course Set Up should be active and able to lift items up to 40 pounds. Volunteers will help set up the course prior to the outing which includes placing hole & cart signage as well as setting up & stocking bars and tents. Post hours are 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Course Teardown: Individuals volunteering for Course Tear Down should be active and able to life items up to 40 pounds. Volunteers will help tear down the course after the play is complete which includes picking up hole & cart signage as well as tearing down and returning bar tents and products to the clubhouse. Post hours are 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Hole Witness: Individuals volunteers for Hole Witness should be comfortable in the sun (although some shade is available). Volunteers will be seated at designated holes to serve as a witness to special contests such as Hole in One and the Putting Challenge. Volunteers can split shifts if needed. Post hours are Noon to 4:30 p.m.
